About this piece
A navy jacket worked in an orange, green and pink floral vine, with the same pattern carried onto the collar and cuffs. Aari work is chain stitch worked with a hooked needle, the aari. The hook draws a continuous loop up through the cloth, which is what gives the line its raised, unbroken quality. Made in wool blend. Kurta length approx. 44 in. Sizes XS–XXL. This is a single piece — one of one. When it sells it is gone, and nothing identical replaces it, because no two worked pieces come out the same. Prices include GST. Dry clean only; store folded in cotton muslin with a cedar block, never in plastic.
